In MS Money 2007, I am able to open my MS Money 2002 file and everything is great except for one difference that is causing me fits. I like to put all my Bills in the bill section and then I can easily see what the balance is going to be in my account after all those bills go through to make sure I have enough money (Shift+Click), but it seems that starting in MS Money 2006, that functionality was taken away. I am not aware of a way to select multiple bills to see the balance after paying all of them. [more inside]

I have to move clean out my mother's house in another state. She just moved into assisted living for Alzheimer's Disease last weekend. It will be an emotional week where I will need a lot of support. My brother has been in an on again off again relationship with a woman for the past five years. He was off for the past six months or so and moved in to help take care of Mom, but now they are back together and spending all their time together. SHe is annoying, crazy, doesn't work and last year punched an 87 year old family friend in the face. Anyway, my partner/girlfriend has said she will only go down and help me and my brother clean out the house if she has the right to never see my brother's girlfriend. Meaning I rent her a car and she leaves anytime this woman comes around. I think that this is going to cause a lot of drama, but I completely understand where she is coming from. I really need her there, but I am really afraid that WW3 will break out and I will be in more hot water. ANy ideas?
My cat is very sick. We went to the vet and were incredibly unsatisfied. Please recommend an awesome vet in the South Hampton Roads (preferably Norfolk or Virginia Beach) area. I have not physically renewed my lease in that time, but it states on the lease that I need to state my intention to stay and my lease is automatically renewed. Great! This year my landlord wants me to physically resign lease. No problem. He put a letter in my mail box with the new lease info. Same as always, so I said I would be over to sign. This sounds so dumb it's embarrassing, but I find the idea of flushing the toilet with the lid up to be seriously gross, imagining this spray of human waste clouding the bathroom with every flush. More often than not, this is how my roommate leaves the toilet and, one presumes, flushes. Is there a way I can say "Hey, dude, do you mind flushing with the lid down? Because it's gross to leave it up and squicks me out," without sounding like a complete loon? Or crazy or super anal? If your roommate asked that of you would you think he was just nuts? many programs and devices have a function that slows down or speeds up audio without changing the pitch. my rockheaded layman's theory on illustrating how this must be done is that it divides the whole audio track into something like audio pixels that are so short that they can be shortened without actually removing any of the details that you're hearing-- it's just you're hearing every small detail for less of an amount of time (likewise with slower speed, it lengthens the amount of time that you hear every of those little "audio pixels" so that it is twice as slow). The other artist had 2 paintings sell. I know E trusted G largely because he felt if I was involved G is a good guy. (The "contact" type of arrangement). I think I put myself in a compromising position that I think I could have handled differently. New acquaintances came to me privately to essentially say that my wife was very rude to them. I am a very frequent user of MS-Word, right now Word 2003. I routinely drop pictures into text documents, selecting the layout option "in line with text". I have inherited a document with wonky picture behavior, where putting a picture in-line makes most or all of it disappear. The document originator seems to have temporarily solved by floating all of the pictures over loads of paragraph marks, which is un-elegant and will not please my learned client. My mad Google skills have failed me for an explanation. I have tried everything from monkeying with the advanced layout (Picture Position) settings to lowering the acceleration on my graphics card, all to no avail. (Virtually) all suggestions will be cheerfully tried.

Hi, I met a man online about a year and a half ago...we have communicated via phone for all this time though some times more frequent than others. I am a 30 something and he is a 40 something. It took us a looooooong time to met (which I finally did this past weekend) for a variety of reasons. I was nervous, we both are shy, I was not sure if he would like me physically, etc., etc. In fact, there were two trips that were previously cancelled. This weekend, finally, I went. I stayed at a hotel, and he was a good host. I was there for 3 days. We did all kinds of touristy things in his town and he treated me like a lady, yet, there was no physical contact. Actually, 2 hugs, that was it. When I arrived, and when I left. No attempted hand holding, no subtle touches, no kiss...it took so long to meet and we are not exactly close in proximity so another meeting may not be anytime soon. I have to say, I expected that he might...so I gotta wonder, does this mean that he was "just not that into me?" I am not sure how to proceed. Hope you can help me figure this out?

"I am a believer." What does this mean, exactly? I think it means that the speaker believes in the resurrection of Christ, but I am wondering if it also conveys more information--perhaps that the person believes generally but does not identify with a particular denomination. Or does it indicate that they are an evangelical Christian? Is this something that a Roman Catholic would be likely to say? I've only been hearing this in the past few years--is that just coincidence, or has this expression recently gained currency for some reason?

There's a recipe I love doing - chocolate eclair cake - it's pretty much graham crackers, frozen whipped topping mixed with prepared (with milk) instant pudding mix, and the chocolate top is cocoa, sugar, a little bit of milk, and butter. This weekend, I'll be taking an 8 hour train to NYC, then have about another 3 hours to kill, then I'll be at a fridge for the night, then the next day, I'll be walking around NYC for about 8 hours, and then delivered to the house of the person the cake is for, with another fridge. So aside from the pain in the ass of carrying it around... am I risking major major dairy spoilage? I've left this cake sitting out on a table at work all day, but this seems a bit different. Thank you!

Also, any tips on clowns/clown camp/clowning/etc. would be appreciated too.
From what source does the authority to require building permits and inspections derive? I've dealt with this whole process before, but every time I have to, I think, "But hey - it's _my_ property! As long as I don't build something that could potentially damage or destroy the property of another, why do I need 'permission' from the government?" Two tech questions: I've just started running into a weird message when I try to go to a page on the ABC News page: This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible. and this is the URL I was reading a NYT story earlier today that mentioned Lamda at the very end of the story. Cleared the cookies, shut down and restarted both browsers (IE and Firefox) but keep getting the same message. Separately, lately when I read certain blogs, I am suddenly taken to a Google images search page; the original pages' URL shows up in the search field and the message is that the URL can't be found. I cannot seem to get rid of this problem. All ideas welcome, and thanks.

I am not a citizen or resident of the US, but I've been offered the opportunity to do some freelance work for a US-based company. The work will be done entirely in my country, without ever visiting the US, but as far as I can tell they will be paying me directly from their home office in the US (not via a subsidiary in my country). Under these circumstances, would the IRS be expecting some sort of filing from me relating to this when the next US tax deadline comes around?

Hi. I'm a 40 year old male with a 32 year old girlfriend. I have just discovered after a recent decline in sexual interest and performance, loss of muscle mass, intense depression and fatigue that I have extremely low testosterone for my age. I took two blood tests and my serum T levels were 200 and 250. I would love to hear any success stories with testosterone replacement therapy. I'd be particularly interested in the resulting career and professional successes that coincided with testosterone therapy as well as any improved sexual drive and performance. I'm at the lowest point of my life financially and professionally. I have an appointment with a well known endochronologist coming up and I'm trying to keep positive. Thanks

Hi. We have a puppy that's a little over a year old, and lately she's picked up a bad habit. She's started to chew on (and ruin some of) our shoes. Rather than totally removing access to the shoes, how can we get her to stop? We've tried showing them to her and telling her "no", but she's a little airheaded so that's not working very well. I bought some of the bitter apple taste-bad spray stuff from PetSmart. It kind of worked, but it seemed like if there wasn't a lot of spray on there then it didn't deter her, so I had to re-spray a lot. Is there a better spray? I was wondering about maybe wiping mace on them, but would that damage our shoes? (btw, we can handle washing our hands after handling our shoes until she gets trained to leave the shoes alone). Or what other techniques would work? Thanks!
