Do you know of a digital frame that can play high quality video well?
I'd like to exhibit a video artwork in a show and I am trying to find a nice digital frame to use. The footage will be looped and I am shooting with a Canon HV20. It's HD footage but I'm not sure if any of these things would be able to play that back. I would be willing to compromise quality a little for convenience as long as it still looks pretty decent. Audio would be an extra bonus but not 100% necessary. Any suggestions?

Well HD is at least 1280x720 which most digital picture frames won't cope with. Most picture frames are less dense than desktop monitors, so -- for 1280x720 -- you'd be looking at around 16" in size.
I've done this on the cheap before with a regular computer monitor and a portable video player (eg, Creative Vision Zen, Ipod Video) concealed at the back. It was quite cheap and the parts useful later.
monitors that can be good looking and some have inbuilt speakers.

I don't think you will find any digital frame that will have HD capability. If you are just looking for a sleek display to mount then check out the imac. You can get a previous generation 17" (white enclosure). The current generations are available in 20 and 24 inches but are much sleeker in aluminum enclosures.

Perhaps something like this Panasonic, but there are many others, with different sizes and prices and appearance.
