How do I get my PIN from Google Adsense?

How do I get a Google Adsense PIN if I've ordered it twice and still not received it?

In order to receive your Google money, you need to enter your PIN, and in order to get the PIN you request it through your account.

When it didn't arrive at the first address I entered, I tried another one and it still didn't arrive. Now that I've requested it twice it won't allow me to request it again. And now the money has been forfeited.

I replied to an email the company sent me warning I was about to forfeit the money I had earned, but they didn't respond. I've tried Google groups for this, and found many people with the same problem but no solutions.

The hardest part seems to be getting any kind of a response from the company. Is there any way to contact this department of Google directly to get an answer? Ideally I could get a person's email or number. Feel free to message me personally if you don't want to put an email in the thread.

Thanks!

Have you checked your spam filter?

Is there a chance that your ISP has a stricter spam filtering software which ate the emails upstream for your mailbox?

Bottlebrush: They send the PIN on a postcard to a physcial mailing address, not an email address.

I had problems getting my PIN as well - it took 3 tries till I got it. No good advice on how to make the process work though.

There is some limited email support from Google for Adsense publishers. You can find the contact form here.

To be honest, I've never used that form, so I have no idea how long their turnaround time is for email support requests.

You might also try posting the question in the Adsense help forums. They're monitored by Google staff who intervene on occasion, and usually have helpful advice from Adsense veterans.

Good luck!

Damnit. I borked the link in my answer above. The link to the contact form is here:

Response by poster: Thanks for the link generichuman, I posted in those forums over a week ago but haven't gotten any response yet. Adsense is actually letting me order it again, there was a time limit I had to wait for. So I did that. But what about the payments that have been forfeited? Is there someone I can get in touch with to recoup that? I figure it's not really fair that it got forfeited since I request a PIN twice and didn't get it.

Response by poster: The contact form resulted in this instant email response:

Thanks for your email regarding your AdSense PIN. Due to the high volume of emails we receive, we're unable to individually respond to your inquiry. However, we've provided some information below which we hope will address your question. If you still have unresolved issues, we encourage you to visit the AdSense Help Center at http://www.google.com/adsense/support or post your question on the AdSense Help Forum at http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help.

But since I can't find what I'm looking for in the forums, I'm still wondering if there's any actually emails or phone numbers for real people I can get in touch with.

This is a long shot, but if you or anyone you know is a medium-to-large scale Adwords advertiser, they might be able to pester their Adwords account rep for that kind of information.

The reps will hum and haw about how the different departments don't really communicate, but a combination of sweetness and persistence usually gets results with them. They might be able to at least get a support address or phone number for you.

Other than that, I'm kind of out of ideas.
