30 Rock Music ID

What instrument is featured on 30 Rock? During the first season of the TV sitcom 30 Rock Liz's scenes are sometimes introduced with a few notes of wistful music, played with what sounds like a woodwind instrument. Usually solo. Can anyone identify the instrument?

Without an episode in front of me to verify (I'm at work), I can say with some confidence that it's a clarinet. I was just watching some episodes last night and paying particular attention to the music, although they were season 2 episodes. Still, I think clarinet.

I thought it was Oboe, and it is mentioned several times that when she was a high school geek she played Oboe.

I hear a lot of clarinet. Sometimes with a flute, which can sound like one instrument sometimes.
