I'm looking for suggestions for wedding rehearsal dinner restaurants in the Towson, MD area
I'm calling upon the hive mind for some suggestions for a venue for dinner after our wedding rehearsal on Oct 2nd. The criteria:
* As good a balance of tasty and cheap as possible.
* Vicinity to the Padonia/York area of Towson, MD
* Alcohol, while not a necessity, would be very nice
* Accommodation for about 20 people (give or take a few)
* Cuisine is secondary, but something tame for unadventurous palates would probably be best
Any suggestions would be great. I'm particularly interested in any personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

The Greystone Grill in Hunt Valley (just to your north) is a great place that I have had good experiences. They do host group events and have dinner pricing from $35 per person (according to the website). You may be able to negotiate this rate.
There is also Joey Chiu's Greenspring Inn (located on Falls Road and I-695) at which I have attended many nice dinner parties. Dinner menus start at $28 per person. The food is Chinese cuisine, which may or may not work for your pickier eaters.
There is also a Carrabba's in Hunt Valley. I'm not sure of the pricing, but you could call and inquire.

This doesn't meet a lot of your criteria (affordable, unambitious?) -- but I've never had a meal that beats the food at Petit Louis. It's a little south of Padonia - on the outskirts of Baltimore - but totally worth the drive. It's also not that much more expensive than Carrabbas / Steak and Ale, and a much nicer dining experience.
If you're looking for something closer to home, I second Greystone Grill. I've eaten there a couple of times and liked it quite a bit.
have fun! (and congratulations to all the appropriate parties!)

There's a Chili's in that area, which I think has a bar.
