Public Speaking workshop in Toronto?

Please recommend a public speaking workshop in Toronto.

I'm scared of public speaking, and it's becoming a serious problem.

Are there any workshops, courses, or programs in Toronto that can help me overcome my fear? I'm not interested in lectures or seminars, I need to practice giving speeches in front of people.

Toastmasters might be a good option if you are looking to speak in a business context.

Toastmasters is very much the answer to that question. District 60 is the Toastmasters district that covers the Toronto area.

What part of town do you live or work in? I may be able to recommend a specific club.

Thirding Toastmasters. Otherwise, check out local university continuing ed classes.

I don't know how good they are, but sadiehawkinstein's answer made me remember that TDSB also offers some inexpensive Continuing Education courses on Public Speaking. I'm not sure whether this link will actually work -- if it doesn't, you can go to the main TDSB continuing education page and flip through the course catalogue. The Public Speaking courses are in the 'communications' section.
