need new textbook for web design class, fast

Less than three weeks before I begin teaching my class, I've been informed that my text is on back order and "would I like to order an alternative?" I've been using Web Design in a Nutshell, 2nd ed., and, as I begin my search for an alternative, I thought I'd ask if anyone has any suggestions for an introductory text on web design?

You might try one of Jennifer's other books, such as Learning Web Design. She's great.

Elizabeth Castro's Creating a Web Page With HTML comes recommended by Jeffrey Zeldman. I read one of her other HTML books and found it good.

That book about the spider and the pig. That's a pretty easy read.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Bad me.

If you ask the "techrhet" email list ( ) you'll get scads of great suggestions, and a long argument about what should be taught in a web design course.
