NYC massage info needed. [more]

My friend needs info about massage salons in NYC that she can visit during her upcoming trip:

"i am going to NYC for the first time and I want to find a place that has a steam room and provides massage therapy.. I own a spa in minneapolis that has I steam
room and I want to do some research. thanks."

She also wants to know about a salon in China Town where the therapists walk on the clients' backs while holding onto ropes, which hang from the ceiling. Anyone know the name of this place or one like it?

Walking on people's backs is a pretty standard aspect of massage (if the masseuse is light it helps). If a salon based its whole services on that it'd be escalating to a gimmick :P

I can vouch for the Russian Turkish Baths in the East Village being a fine all-around massage/spa/sauna/skin treatments/salt scrubs experience.

But I know there are (probably more than) a few others. The Chinatown one I've heard of, but I'd be no help in tracking it down.
