Are there any other coding nerds out there?

Are there any good html and css forums that focus on writing semantic markup?

Specifically, I'm looking for places to bounce ideas off of when I'm trying to write code to come up with the best ways of doing it. Sometimes things aren't as straight forward as "this is a paragraph, here goes the p tag!" A place where people live, eat and breath html and css! There are lot of forums out there for web design and coding, but I don't seem to be finding any that fit into this specific area. Kind of like if a list apart had its own forum/discussion area beyond comments.

Evolt.org, specifically thelist mailing list, is exactly what you're asking for. The site is useful, but the real action happens on thelist.

Microformats are all about practical applications of semantic markup, and the discussion list may be what you're seeking. Not a lot of CSS discussion there.

The WSG (Web Standards Group) has a very active mailing list and less active forum.

There's also the css-discuss mailing list and wiki. Moderated by Eric Meyer, IIRC.
