How do I assemble a bbq without instructions

Bought a new gas bbq grill from someone on eBay but it didn't come with the assembly instructions. How can I track the instructions down or put it together without them?

The grill doesn't have a brand name although on one of the pieces it says "Jinwoniu Industry Co Ltd. (China) with a model number 84842B. Googling hasn't turned up much.

The picture of the grill is here.

Aside from the stand, etc. a lot of the grill is already put together. The grill bit is attached inside (see picture) as is the regulator. I don't know what this is though or where it goes.

If anyone has a similar grill maybe they could let me know the manufacturer and model and I could then track down instructions? Or any other suggestions appreciated!

That thing there, I think it goes over the piece where the propane comes out of, to protect it from drips.

Response by poster: I think you're right and I think I just found out where it goes. It looks like it sits in the grill above the thing where the flame comes out.

My last grill had a bottom rack that the rocks would sit on but this one doesn't seem to have that. Are there some gas grills that don't use rocks at all?

Yes indeedy. My gas grill is rockless. Most of the ones I saw last summer when I was shopping around did not feature rocks.

I don't know where you could find an instruction manual, but you could post photos of all the parts you don't understand on Metafilter and we could help you work it out...

Thanks for that. Going to take a crack at putting it all together tomorrow and will post photos if I hit more snags. In the meantime, if anyone knows the model and can lead to instructions I'm still looking!
