Boredbaby filter: Portable DVD player for car

I need recommendations for a DVD player that straps to your headrest.

I bought one thru Amazon and recieved it and it didn't have the headrest kit in it!
So I returned it and am going to make a less hasty purchase...
Any suggestions people??

(Possibly unneeded info: I will reluctantly admit here who it is for... my BABY. I swore no TV, etc blah blah blah but this kid HATES the car. I cant go anywhere. Everything is a half hour away from me so a couple times a week I have to just suck it up and go but he screams and cries till he vomits and chokes and then screams some more. He is VERY active and hates to sit still. It never gets better and I am trying to just get to the grocery store. He's 8 months and I tested out Yo Gabba Gabba and he likes it. Singing songs doesn't help, his favorite CD doesn't help. He LOVES being out and about places but I just can't get him there.)

The DVD player my friend uses didn't have a case either -- she just bought one from CaseLogic. This one, in fact. She can either hang it on one seat or between the two front seats.

This is the one we got from Target for our baby. We bought it on sale and love it, kinda pricey but well worth it.
It didn't get great reviews but we have no complaints. Best thing is that the baby can be watching something in the back (it comes with all the head rest accessories) and my wife can watch something else in the front.
Highly Recommend!

If your car has those headrests that rise and fall on little chrome posts, ou can strap or hang any screen from those posts pretty easily. String, velcro, whatever.

Also, on your aside: I think TV in car is fine, and doesn't belong in the "TV as babysitter = bad parent" category. Going somewhere in the car is an event, not a plunk-down and ignore state. Associating TV with going out seems like it might be fine for a kid. No bad habits to form, really.

Hi have this one from Newegg, and I (and my kids) love it. Sounds like you don't need the 2nd screen, but it might come in handy some day.
