Do you know? Do you know how it feels to not know this?

Song in my head for days, sounds very nineties. Singer is female, chorus something like "Do you know/do you know how it feels to be lonely? Do you know/do you know how it feels to be (small?)" No luck with Google. Help?
I'm with gyusan. Definitely sounds like This is how it feels.

Response by poster: Oh, so similar (Inspiral Carpets) but not it. Female singer somewhere in the realm of the Sundays.

A bit obvious, but it's not Madonna's What It Feels Like for a Girl, is it?

Could it be a cover of Gram Parson's Do You Know How it Feels to be Lonesome"?

Well I really only know the Sundays from that one big hit they had, but might this be it? (To me she sounds more like PJ Harvey, but as I said I'm not up on the Sundays, so maybe it sounds like them, too.)

Wait, are we just suggesting songs that happen to have "lonely" in the title? 'Cause I know what mine would be.

How about Cowboy Junkies "Now I Know" (you can hear the first 30 seconds on this page)? Doesn't even have "lonely" in it, but a similar rhythm to the lines and mid-90's woman singer.

Response by poster: Noooo. More dreampoppy and upbeat (despite the lyrics.) I didn't make it up, I swear.
