Little Mermaid Replica

I'm looking for a small replica (say 8-12") of the Copenhagen Little Mermaid for my garden pond. (In other words, suitable for outdoors.) Anyone know where I can get one? Tried to find online tourist shops in Copenhagen, but no luck. Thanks.
Response by poster: yeti, yeah, just a tad pricey, but thanks I'm impressed. Can't believe there isn't a Smith-and-Hawkins type place somewhere that has one for hoi poloi.

Best answer: It's a copyright issue. On the site yeti points to, it says:
---
In order to produce or sell sculptures of "The Little Mermaid" or use her photo in advertisments, on T-shirts, at conferences etc. Please contact in advance Copy-Dan Billedkunst for further information concerning copyright.
Copy-Dan Billedkunst
Østerfælled Torv 10, DK 2100 København Ø

I might try emailing Dan to see what's available in your price range.

Response by poster: artdrectr-- I sort of assumed that anyone making reproductions would have dealt with copyright; I'm not looking for bootleg LMs. Thanks for the lesson in copyright law, and the useful email address.

Response by poster: Update: Indeed, artdrectr had it right. The original studio has never authorized any reproductions, and the link that yeti found is the only source. A reason I couldn't google it may be that the site is in Danish and only Danish. When I searched the Danish term, it came right up. The government of Denmark must be gnashing its collective teeth over the lost revenue from all the t-shirts, keychains, posters ad nauseum that they are not selling. Damn. Well, Disney does a Little Mermaid too, amirite?

A bronze 9" replica is going to run you over $3k (and nearly as cool as the $55K five-footer).
