What's the best website to research someone's background?
I know there are several websites where you can conduct background searches on people, usually for a fee. Which ones are good, and which ones should I avoid?

There are people who do this for a living, much faster and better than you can. Your local public library will probably have a list.
Lawyers and businesses do this all the time. Call up your lawyer, or the local bar association. Go to the personnel office where you work and ask what they do.
The Better Business Bureau may have a list or be able to refer you to someone who does.
Avoid the websites unless someone you know vouches for them. Almost all of them charge you $35 and then just send you a list of the sites any Google search will pull up.
