Blackberry users: Why does mine display the plaintext part of a multipart-MIME email (good), but my colleague's displays only the raw HTML code (bad) for the exact same email?

Are you and your colleague using the same BES?

I fired of the above question to a friend of mine who provides (paid) support for Blackberries. I asked him for a quick (and free) answer, and this is the response:

"BlackBerry always views the text part of an email. I would guess that the handheld viewing the html code is coming off a BWC service which is pulling from an external email service which is only storing the message in html.

But that is my best guess."

It might not be much to go on, but mention this in a call to whoever runs the admin on your BB server and it might point them in the right direction.
