SportBrain: Stuck in phone-jack land. Alternatives?

Are there any alternatives to the SportBrain 'connected pedometer' device?

The idea behind the SportBrain is cool (tracking fitness stats online), but the fact that it relies on a landline phone jack for connectivity purposes is not (I use my mobile exclusively). Are there any similar devices that upload via a PC connection or via WiFi?

This Omron seems to collect the same stats as the SportBrain, but if there's something special about the website that you wouldn't get in the Omron software then that would complicate things. I can't see that there's a lot of different ways to represent calories/miles/stride/etc., though.

Nike Sportband? I don't have a link b/c the Nike is just an annoying mess of flash, but if you go nike.com you can read about it.
