Name those designers!

I have a particular furniture company in mind, but forgot the name and can't find it.
Please jog my memory. Several months ago I stumbled on the website of a furniture company named for two designers, and neglected to bookmark it. These designers are both gay men who were once a couple, broke up but remained business partners, were once profiled in the NYT. Their offerings are comfortable, contemporary but not brutally modern, neither cheap nor OMG expensive, and available nationally through independent furniture dealers. I've spent about an hour and a half trying to re-stumble on the site, to no avail. Any ideas?
