This might help you - from a post on another forum:

"hey everyone, i work at a forever 21 and don't have access to the playlists there. However, I did find out that the DJ that makes the soundtracks has a myspace page where he lists the song lists for each month. Keep in mind though that there is a new cd each month and that each store differs in which cds they play (we usually rotate the three most recent cds every day but sometimes play one of the older ones) so you might have to go back through a few lists to find what you're looking for. Hope that helps a bit! Oh and you can download the most recent soundtrack from a link on his page!!!"

I don't know how often he updates his myspace though.

In a previous life while working at the Gap when we got our monthly CD it also came with a printed out play list which we usually kept up at the cash wrap - you may want to see if forever 21 has a list you can browse.

I don't know if my store is more laid back, but at the store in my town the employees bring in their own music.

I checked out that MySpace link that iconomy posted, and there hasn't been a new playlist posted by that guy since September 2007. I used to work for the company that made Forever 21's monthly CDs, and I just called their customer service line and was informed that Forever 21 terminated their contract and went with another service provider. (He thought it might be Muzak, but it could also be Play Networks.)

I'd suggest going to a Forever 21 store and asking to see the playlist for their monthly CD. If they look at you like you have lobsters growing out of your ears, it's possible that they're using a proprietary satellite radio system. If that's the case, the only way to get a playlist would be to contact their service provider, and even then they'd likely only be able to give you a sample of approved artists and genres. It sounds really weird, but most companies that use a custom playlist in their stores are reluctant to release any info about what's actually on the playlist. It can't hurt to try, though. Good luck!

True, the fellow hasn't updated his MySpace blog in over a year, but he has logged in recently. I bet if you dropped him a message, he could help you out with this month's playlist.
