Where can I sell my car?

Where is a good place to sell a used car in Boston?

I've tried craigslist, but get no replies. The car runs great and I'm not asking a lot, it's just not a new shiny car. So I'm wondering what other options I have.

The Wantads. That's how we sold our cars (and bought them) when we lived in Boston. Also, there's another weekly paper called Wheels.

I can't imagine using anything other than Craigslist to sell a car, and I've bought and sold a few in my time, both in Boston and San Francisco. Maybe if you gave us a link to your ad, or described what you're trying to sell and what your asking price has been, I could give you some suggestions about marketing it?

Best answer: I've sold 6 cars on craigslist and bought 4 of them. I think the trick to selling is to make them pretty but still obvious it's not a dealer. I use postlets.com for templates.
