Day 1 - LOL. Day 2 - LOL....

I'm looking to find some funny (as in LOL) blogs, that are updated at least once a day with jokes, funny pictures, amusing stories, etc.

I love Icanhazcheezburger. Some of the pics on there are really inspired, and others make me laugh out loud. I also like short funny stories, especially those of a personal nature. For example, I loved The Astoria Notes.

I want to view other, similar blogs with amusing content, that are updated at least once a day. I want to sit down with my morning mug of coffee and laugh myself awake.

What blogs might I find amusing?

It's not updated every day, but my new favorite blog is passiveaggressivenotes.com.

FAIL Blog
Shipment of Fail
There is some overlap between the sites due to the theme.

I don't know if this one is updated daily but it has alot of good jokes on it(at the bottom of the page), I haven't watched the video section so I can't comment on those.

I really like Jason Loves look at life. from his website..."
Welcome to the website of Jason Love, a humor writer whose original newspaper and web content includes "Snapshots" (daily cartoons), "So It Goes" (humor columns), "Silly Questions" (funny sayings), "Stuff I Learned" (one liner jokes), and "Real Life Snapshots" (funny pictures). Jason also hosts humorous video columns for newspaper media.

Best answer: I'm sorry this isn't daily either, but The Sneeze has always been a favorite. It used to be posted more often, but has lately seen a decline. The archives are great fun, though. Especially, Steve, Don't Eat It! He's a talented writer a fun read.

I like Cajun Boy in the City. It's an amusing blog written by a guy where he tells funny stories and writes funny articles. Also just pokes fun at the world in general.

Ok, I just saw this linked in the comments of FAILblog (which, more and more, seems to consist of pictures that are already cool/weird in their own right without some loser wrting 'Fail' on them), and, for the record and just to spread the laughter, it's funny: anythingBlack
I think it's Atrios's side project.

Also, if you're not reading blogs via RSS, you should make the switch: that way you won't care whether any particular site is updated daily, you'll just get a list of updates.

I love, LOVE the comics of explosm.net. It has my type of humor. Kinda of dark, sometimes NSFW... but still LOL Funny.

CShoeboxblog, where various writers and artists of Shoebox cards have a bit of daily fun. My favorite is when they run stuff that doesn't make it into the cards.

dooce is updated every day and is worth it for the Daily Chuck posts alone. The other content is good too.

If you like Brits, clever absurdity, photoshoppery, and occasional funny stories, try b3ta.com. You can even contribute.

McSweeney's has funny little pieces daily. And sometimes not funny, but you can skip those days. This is one of my favorites - Cookie Monster Looks Deep Within Himself And Asks: Is Me Really Monster?

Girlsarepretty has just finished being once per day, but is still updated regularly. It is not always laugh funny, but is always personal type short stories.

I feel I need to mention my friend's blog, Bottom Shelf Books. It's "about" children's books, but mostly he just uses whatever storybook he reads that day as a jumping off point for his absurdist and genuinely funny tangents. Plus, it includes actual personal anecdotes, which are also well-written and droll, such as the time he proposed to his girlfriend. (and his photoshop skills are absolutely whelming)

He used to be very regular in his posting, but now I see that it's been over a week. Still, I think it would make a good addition to your list.

Best answer: More comics..

xkcd - geeky/cute humor (nothing too profane, and updated M,W,F)
Married to the Sea - nerdy/geeky and always dark, crude, and sarcastic (hit or miss)
Toothpaste for dinner - just good all around, love the crude drawing style

There's also an old online comic using stick figures very similar to explosm, but I can't think of the name off the top of my head (old like y2k old).

The Plug. I forget how I stumbled upon it, and it only updates monthly, but it is worth it! A sample: the author decides to randomly stand on a corner and hold up a sign that says "I don't wear this ugly tie anymore" (with said tie stapled to it, natch), and documents what happens.
