What's 'D.A.R.' mean? (No, not Daughters of the American Revolution)

What's the abbreviation "D.A.R." mean when referring to Latin music?

I'm on allmusic.com a lot for work and whenever I look at Latin albums (usually more traditional rather than pop) I often see D.A.R. in the place of the composer's name. What does this mean? Because I see it on the more traditional songs, I think it might be something to do with public domain. Am I right? Any ideas?
