(NYC filter) Help me find the Cantor that sells 600 thread count bed sheets in front of a synagogue near Macy's.

Two weeks ago after I left Macy's I came upon an old guy selling 600 thread count egyptian cotton linnens off a table on the street, in front of an old building. Fourty bucks a king size set! I didn't buy them then but got his card, and turns out he's a Cantor and that place was a synagogue.

I obviously lost his card, and today I walked up and down the whole area looking for him, but couldn't find a synagogue to save my soul. As I remember it, it should not be more than 2 blocks from Macy's. Have you ever seen this guy? Where is this synagogue? Is a bargain-sheet-selling Cantor too bizare to be real? Did I halucinate?

It's on 6th or Broadway, somewhere between 34th and 38th. Whichever block it's on, it's definitely on the west side of the street.

Best answer: I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the Millinery Center Synagogue, at 1025 Sixth Avenue, between 38th & 39th, on the west side of the street.
