Name-That-Artist-Filter: Posted to the blue a couple years ago. Male painter. Possibly lived in California. Somewhat well known. Pictures of Victorian-era girls and teddy bears and other animals, some with slightly oversized heads and eyes, all with a vaguely weirdish feel to them. Sorry, that's all I can remember. Thanks in advance for hoping me.

If you like Ryden, you may like this book, which includes Ryden and other artists in that vein.

Other Ryden touchstones are Abraham Lincoln and meat.
