Is there a legal defense fund for these kids?
The Southern Poverty Law Center (which does not really need any more money -- endowment of 120.6 million!!!) is situated in Montgomery, Alabama, and is likely to know what's up with the case.

Surprisingly difficult to find photos, but here's one.
Judging by the reactions, I have a sneaking suspicion that the part of the graffito that said "N.T. 11 11 31" was meant to give people another idea about who may have committed it.
