Searching for a realtor south of Boston

Looking for a realtor in Weymouth/Hanover/Pembroke/Southfield MA...

My wife and I are ready to buy our first house and start our family. We are looking in Weymouth, Hanover, Pembroke and possibly Milton. None of our friends have suggestions for a realtor who knows these areas, so we're hoping for some recommendations.

We have also just discovered Southfield in Weymouth and wondered if anyone has heard anything about this planned community at the old South Shore Naval base. We've been through the website, but haven't gone to the Welcome Center yet. Just wondering if anyone's heard anything that might be of interest.

Even though it is being remediated, the NAS is a Superfund site. I don't know that I would want to live there.

However, I think Pembroke is wonderful. It is a friendly and beautiful little town.

My realty suggestion for that area would be William Raveis, but that's only because I know a couple of the realtors and they do an excellent job.

Response by poster: From our understanding the NAS has been cleaned up rather well...is this not true? Any EPA source to verify that?

Here's the EPA factsheet on the site.

Response by poster: Wonder what the odds are it will be successfully fixed?
