Great haircut in Eugene

Help me find a great new hairstylist in Eugene, Oregon. I am a woman, and have curly hair, so need someone who can cut curly hair well. I want someone who is willing to wild, funky red colors-I don't want old lady hair, or Junior League doctor's wife hair, or straw-like cheap dye job. I want cute and curly and low maintenance and crimson. Help!
I've asked this recently for a trip to Seattle, and had a decent cut there based on askmefi recs, but I really need something close to home. I've had a salon I've loved for years, but they've become increasingly conservative and my cuts have been more and more bleh, and more and more expensive. I'm willing to spend money for a great cut and color, though. Who do you know who is fabulous?

I can't recommend anyone specific but I believe you will be in good hands if you find someone who is Devachan/Curly Girl trained.

You may find something in the salon reviews on NaturallyCurly.com.

Response by poster: thebrokedown, I totally agree, and that would normally be my strategy except for two current life challenges: I want to get a cut and color this week, as it's my birthday and I'm going to Hawaii; and I don't work in the town I live in, and when I go around town now it's with a toddler in tow-I'm really not seeing a lot of hip people with awesome hair at Albertson's at 7 pm on a Tuesday.
A couple of good ideas in the salon reviews, though-thanks for the link.

The best red, for durability and lack of damage to the hair is elumen by Goldwell.

Norene at Hairmasters does color very well. She picked a fantastic red for my daughter.

Sorry to take so long to respond. I would suggest Candice at Lux on 5th street. I hear the other stylists there are good too. It's a more up scale but casual place with an easy going but current vibe.
