Give me your thought provoking questions.

Help me compile an interesting online survey.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I am a member of Myspace as it is an excellent way to keep up with most of my friends. One gripe I have with it (and I know I'm not alone in this) is the stupid and mundane surveys people fill out and clog the bulletin board with. I do not care what color underwear you are wearing or who texted you last. Who would even want to know these things? I can understand if you're still in high school, but I have some friends that are pushing 30 and still filling out these things. I have decided to combat this and compile a survey of my own with things people actually want to know about someone else. I want questions thought provoking questions that require more than a one word answer and I want to avoid "what's your favorite ___." What are your suggestions for what I should ask?

Where would you most like to go in the world and why?

What subject would you like to be an expert in?

What would your dream job be, provided money was not an issue?

What three things would you send to Room 101?

What is your proudest moment?

Which living person would you most like to meet?

Taking a page from OKCupid's book:
What I'm doing with my life
The six things I could never do without
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

It's one-word-answer, but the weight you can put on it is thought provoking: "Do you have a passport?"

"What was the scariest thing you've done this year?"

"What is the most important thing you want to do this year?"

which superpower would you prefer, invisibility or flight?
i think that's a pretty good question to jump-start any stalled group conversation.
