Glastonbury 2007 - anyone remember this beat boxer?

I went to glastonbury 2007 and on either the Thursday or Friday early in the day a human beatboxer played on a tiny stage (a tent) by the green fields, tried to find out who he was on the glasto website but to no avail. Can anyone help?

So this guy basically was a human beatboxer. He would record a part and then loop it over and then work on the next loop and then progressively add more and more bits, to great effect i might add.

Appearance wise, I think he had dreads and wore quite baggy clothing and i seem to remember some kind of goatee and moustache thing going on as well.

I think this was in a little tent by the green fields and inside was a bar. It wasn't standing, everyone was sitting on benches or bean bag kind of things. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it, I was pretty fucked up at the time, even at 11am, and he never said his name, or maybe he did but i forgot it.

"live looping" is what that's called. I have seen both Kid Beyond and Jamie Liddel do it to excellent effect, but neither of them match your description at all. Well Kid Beyond does wear baggy clothes but as far as I can tell he has no hair at all.

Response by poster: yes MC Xander, good work! I just checked out his myspace and you can almost see me standing in the crowd in his glastonbury photo. When I say almost I mean you can't see me but I know where I was! Thanks dude.

I got your answer, it was definately Killa Kela you saw. He's been playing Glastonbury for the last few years. More on Killa Kela.

Kid Beyond (etc) would be the first guess but, yeah, his head's shaved. Did the guy use a foot button box to control the looping?

Why is no-one mentioning Schlomo? He was all over Glastonbury 2007 and (while he doesn't fit the physical description) played so many times, with the exact setup mentioned above, that I would suggest him as the number one contender.
