bafflingly obscure LP

rare/weird vinyl filter: I have an LP that, as far as I can tell, has stumped Google itself. Help!

I have the self titled debut lp by May Blitz (fairly rocking British power trio from circa 1970). It's on Vertigo (UK label), but it's a totally weird South Korean pressing: 846 334-1/RP 2235. The label says it's Registered No. 3, Ministry of Culture. What the HELL? Anyone?

I'm not familiar with the particular details, but it has been very common for Western labels to do Asian pressings, usually to save on transportation costs. It could certainly be an obscure pressing just by dint of Asian copies not making it to where you are very often, but unless the tracklist is different there's really not much rarity associated with these things. Even different artwork would be marginal.

Quite possibly a bootleg, in which case most reputable collector directories won't list it. That's not to say it isn't valuable though.

there's a mention here and here, maybe ask the posters of thes messages for details about the origin of the pressing ?

Gemm has three vinyl pressings by May Blitz listed. Holy crap, I hope it's one of these, as each is in the $100+ range. FYI, GEMM is the holy grail of rare music on rare media, in my opinion. I have found amazing things there.

I'll assume you've checked AMG; if not, I'd take a look there.
