Remember Name that Tune? Here's the Itunes version. Only without prizes or a host in an ugly sportscoat

Help me identify the LAST unknown songs on my Itunes. Mostly jazz, some blues and one or two pop songs.

These are the last 20 unknown songs in my Itunes library. I know neither the artist or the song title. While I'd LOVE the album too, it's more important to get the other two things first. Here's a link to the songs in a fun flashy format

The SONGS

Some of the songs I think should be easy for a more eclectic musicologist than myself. But for the jazz numbers, a specialist is going to be needed I think. Most of the songs are of the bebop variety. I don't need every sideman, but I'd love the main artist and the song. That should get me most of the way.

So that's it team. Do what you can. Thanks.

"Unknown Jazz 5" is Oleo.

I'll do as many as I can, but I'm at work with no headphones, so I have to pick my moments.

Have you already tried MusicBrainz's taggers?

If you're on a mac, ieatbrainz will look at the acoustic fingerprint of the song and try to derive the proper tags from it's database. There are similar apps for the pc.

Uknown Jazz 7 is "'Round Midnight", performed by Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. It's the same version as this Amazon mp3, except the sample they give starts about 30 seconds in, after the intro and right at the head of the tune.

Response by poster: These are great. Thanks so much everyone. I thought the jazz would be the hardest. Apparently the blues and pop are much harder than I expected.

I could swear I know "Unknown Pop 2" as being menu music in a video game. I have no clue which one though.
