A Pukeko in a Ponga Tree

Does anyone know where I could find a downloadable (preferably free) version of the New Zealand Christmas carol "A Pukeko in a Ponga Tree?"

I'm trying to make a holiday mix for a friend from New Zealand. I've googled and googled and have not been able to find one anywhere...

Gracias.

I haven't got much to offer, but this page suggests that a recording was released on cassette (it gives no details). It's possible someone still has a copy. Failing that, maybe you could relive primary school days and record yourself singing it :)

According to the National Library of New Zealand's catalogue, there was a cassette version, copies of which are held in a couple of NZ libraries.

I can't find any evidence of a CD version, or anything online.

*Maybe* you could order a cassette copy via interlibrary loan, and copy from that [but don't, because it would be illegal]. But even if you could, there's zero chance you could do this before Christmas, anyway.

Failing a better answer, is there any reason you couldn't round up a bunch of your friends and record a simple version yourself? The lyrics are easy, and they might get a kick out of earnest attempts to pronounce the Maori words.
