Psychoanalytic/psychodynamic therapist in Toronto?

Seeking recommendations for a therapist in Toronto that works from a psychoanalytic/psychodynamic approach. Preferably amenable to sliding scale payments.

A friend of mine is suffering from depression, self-esteem issues, family problems, and an eating disorder, to top it all off. The kind of hospital-based programs she's attended haven't really dealt with any of her underlying issues, which is where I think a good therapist would help. Please email totherapist@gmail.com.

I see someone that my family doctor recommended, who is a psychiatrist, but does psychotherapy almost exclusively. Because he is a psychiatrist, he is covered entirely by OHIP.

Yes. If cost is a concern, see a psychiatrist. There will be no cost at all (assuming the patient is covered by OHIP).
