Is it possible to buy a box of single-dose OTC medication packets?

A friend is putting together a bunch of home-made first aid kits. She wants to put in those medication packets, like these at Minimus (which I suggested). However, she said those are a bit expensive. (Some are almost a dollar each.) Are there medical supply stores or whatnot where you can buy a box of single-dose packets of OTC medications?

Best answer: Sams/Costco/BJ's/etc will often carry these, as do some large office supply stores (Staples has some right here.

Best answer: Here's an on-line supplier.

Best answer: Target--travel section or any convenience store or truck stop.

An industrial safety supplier like Orr should carry bulk single-dose OTCs for use by company clinics. I have no idea about pricing or volume requirements. I'm not sure if that is better than the other suggestions here.

Best answer: The local drugstore chains regularly put 50-10 count boxes of tylenol or advil packets like those on sale. Ditto for alcohol wipes, which are also handy for a first aid kit. Though they may not be stocked in the most likely place. When not put on the "SUPER SALE!!" endcap, I've never noticed them in the aisles. Ask a clerk.

Best answer: I noticed they were selling these at REI too, as "first aid kit refills".
