Bernadette Peters: did she sing Frankie Ford's "Sea Cruise" on television?

I could swear I heard Bernadette sing "Sea Cruise" on TV with a chorus. I thought it was the Coast Guard Academy chorus. I thought it was on SNL. But for some reason I can't Google this effectively.

Any idea what I'm remembering?

This sounds vaguely familiar to me, too. I'm thinking it was a Bob Hope special for some reason.

Best answer: Any of her IMDB entries ring a bell for you?

According to tv.com, "Sea Cruise" was performed on SNL by Jill Clayburgh with the Singing Idlers and the SNL band in a show during the first season (1976.)

Response by poster: You rock, bonobo! That must be what I was thinking of, since the Idlers are the Coast Guard Academy's a capella group. Don't know why I thought it was Bernadette, but then again, it was a long time ago.

Thanks!
