Where can I buy ignition wires / ignition cables by the meter?

Where can I buy ignition wires / ignition cables by the meter (or feet)?
Only found suppliers in Europe: http://www.stevens-wesel.de/zuendung.htm
I need a few meters/feet and don't want to buy bulk.

Any suggestion appreciated.

Try Magnecor.

I run their stuff on my turbo truck and love it. Excellent RFI suppression, high quality/high heat tolerant silicone sleeve, quality connectors. A bit pricey but well worth the $$, IMO. They are also happy to make custom lengths, as you'll see advertised on the above link.

Almost any auto parts retailer has a big spool of this stuff they sell by the foot. Also look at car audio places, they sell the same stuff by the foot for high power amplifiers, but probably 3x the cost.

Any autoparts store will have the wire and the ends and boots you'll need. Plus they probably crimp it for free.

Response by poster: CLARIFICATION

Thx2MOSK but the wires seem to be tremendously expensive?

I need a few meters/feet plain caple. No plugs no nothing. It is needed for a High Voltage Power supply. The cable has to withstand 30,000 Volt.

I don't neet it for a car, I even don't have a car.

Thanx

Oh, sorry I misunderstood your question. Magnecor makes race-quality ignition leads. They are expensive, but they are also very high quality and the cost isn't unreasonable compared to the quality of what they sell.

Try this Summit Racing link. The search term was "bulk spark plug wire". Looks like they have several options in various bulk lengths.

You can also try McMaster.com, and do a search for electrical wire. They have several different high voltage, single conductor wire options that they sell by the foot.

Best answer: That is some pretty high voltage you are talking.. Here is some surplus 40kV wire.
