Does anyone know what Arthur Russell is singing at the beginning of "Tone Bone Kone?" I love the sound of that opening and feel a strong attachment to it but I have no idea what he is saying.

So here is what I can hear when I listen to it (the parts in italics are the parts I don't understand... obviously):

"I'm so happy that I met you and blah blah blah blah you seeing you giving me blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah tone....

. . . and it sounds like "you ga - ave me good advice . . ." shortly thereafter.

Great tune, but given that the refrain is "tone bone kone," attempting to make sense of the lyrics may be a pointless exercise!
