Help me learn how to sequence music

Does anyone have tips about sequencing (especially drums) on the Korg triton le? How to get started?
I have the vhs tape that came with it, but it illustrates everything that I've already figured out.
In SEQ mode, I'm trying to figure out how to assign instruments (drums) and record either in real time or by note.
Do you know of any good online tutorials? Can you give me a jump start?
After my experience with the vhs (finding an old player in the garage only to find out that the tutorial sucks) I'm trying to avoid purchasing the "masters series" dvd. Is that my only hope?
