Creative Zen Microphoto mp3 player and I can't deal with the software - any suggestions for alternatives?

I have a Creative Zen Microphoto mp3 player. I am generally happy with it, however I can not deal with the software that comes with it. Its confusing and I can't even seem to figure out how to delete duplicates or delete period, organize them the way I would like to, etc. Are there any programs out there for me? I noticed a past posting mentioning Red Chair Notmad, but then there are all these negative customer service complaints all over so I decided against it. Also, what type of podcast aggregator tool thingy should I get? Basically I'd like to easily have podcasts come to one of those feeds/program things and then put them on my mp3 player, also like to easily be able to delete the old ones. I am not exactly a technology super star, but I can follow directions if someone can point me the right way. Thanks!

Both of my creative zen players (vision:m and zen plus) can be manipulated through windows explorer. I don't use any of the software. Have you tried that?

Download the freeware program iTunes Agent, and use iTunes for your music collection and podcast aggretation.

I use gnomad 2 for my Creative Zen Vision:M. It works rather well, but is very basic. I don't know if it can help you with the podcasts, but basically, download whatever you want, save it somewhere, and then put it on your player through gnomad. It's pretty flawless thus far.

Windows Media Player works well for me and my Zen MicroPhoto. I also use Juice for podcasts.

Bah! One solution, and his name is: MediaMonkey!

Truly the answer to all your needs.

Seconding the dragging and dropping files via explorer. If you're a windows person, itunes will make you pull your hair out as it tries to take over everything.

I use winamp, but only because I knew to dig around and get the non-screwed up by AOL version. WMP will also work OK.

I really like the software from Red Chair Software, been using it since my original Creative Nomad. They have versions for Creative, Rio, iPod, and a couple other players. Very easy to use, good syncing options. There's a limited trial version you can test out.
