Is there a good primer on a systematic approach to web (re-) design?

I have been asked to re-design a medium sized corporate website. The client is a systems engineering firm, so I would like to approach the work with a higher degree of systematicity tha I have before.
Is there a good primer on a systematic approach to web (re-) design?

I'm using Web ReDesign : Workflow that Works right now. Seems pretty good.
