What movie has aliens eating mom?

I'm trying to find out the name of a movie that terrified me as a kid. The specific scene I remember has some alien creatures eating a kids mother on the dining room table. There was a baseball, and the creature wrote something on it....and threw it up the stairs to the kid, I think? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A quick google tells me there's a scene in the apparently delightful movie Troll 2 where someone tosses the son a baseball that says "eat up before we eat you" on it, and someone in the forum on IMDB says that there's a scene in Troll 2 where some evil somethings (trolls, you would think...) eat someone. No aliens though. And apparently also no trolls, which made a lot of people really angry.

Best answer: I was going to say Troll 2 also, though I have repressed a good deal of that...er...delightful film. (shudders)

As kids, my brother and I laughed so incredibly hard at the end of Troll 2 (well, really throughout.) The kid thinks he's all safe and then BAM! here comes the baseball with "YUMMY MOMMY" written on it. Truly classic hilarity. I also marveled at the mysterious Grandpa figure that would spontaneously appear and kick some "troll" butt. Thank you for asking this question and reminding me of the cinematic triumph that is Troll 2.
