wacky 80's rap tracks - recommend more songs like "The Breaks", "Magic's Wand", and especially "Holiday Rap"!

Response by poster: Doesn't necessarily have to be from the 80's, just anything funny and upbeat/entertaining in the spirit of those tracks, for example, that "I wish" song.

If you like "The Breaks" by Kurtis Blow, surely you will enjoy "Basketball".

-anything off of Sir Mix-Alot's SWASS.

Pretty much anything at all by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, but mostly from "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper"

"Cabbage Patch" by World Class Wreckin' Cru always works for me as well.

"The Rain", Oran "Juice" Jones. Not quite exactly precisely what you are looking for but close enough. Actually, I pretty much would take any opportunity to recommend that one. The link is to the video on youtube.

Closer to what you are looking for is the four star flat-out CLASSIC "Think About It", by Special Ed.. SO good. Nothing on Youtube so the link is to some site that claims they'll play you the track on demand you but you need Realplayer. I don't have real, can't vouch for the site, but "Think About It" is worth installing Realplayer. Really.

With all due respect to item above, I think what you're looking for is Rappin' Rodney, one of my all-time favorites.

La Di Da Di or Mona Lisa by Slick Rick are both good, fun songs. Also, most of Digital Underground's Sex Packets. Bizzie Boys. The first Pharcyde record, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, which includes Ya Mama and Oh Shit. Del Tha Funky Homosapien's Mistadobolina.
