Halo XBOX 360 Multiplayer Help

Halo XBOX 360 Help. How do I change the screen view on 2 player multiplayer?
I had my XBOX 360 set up to my old TV. Whenever I played 2 player multiplayer, the screen would divide horizontally, with one player playing the top, and the other playing the bottom. I got a new TV, hooked up the XBOX, now 2 player multiplayer divides vertically, with one playing on the left, and one on the right.
It can't figure out how to change it back to a horizontal divide. I am not even sure why it changed on the first place. I have searched all the settings in Halo, on the XBOX 360 itself, and on my TV (an Ultravision Digital HDTV).
Can anyone help?
