Open source synth for OSX

Can you recommend an open-source software based synthesizer that supports OS X?

Having seen the Reactable demos on YouTube and thought to myself, shit that looks fun, I'm looking for a nice software based open source synthesizer. (Objective-C == overflow of wonder.)

Best answer: csound is one, supercollider is open source now too I think
