"Sound Music" Sample

Sample identification filter: What is the background loop on DJ Babu's "Sound Music" (MP3 preview from EMusic here)? I'm a hundred percent sure that I've heard it used before on some hip-hop track I used to love, but an hour of five second stretches from my most likely suspects didn't yield a hit. Any ideas, hive-mind?

Not sure, but that emusic link would never finish buffering for me. Here's another link via juno.co.uk (this is the same track, right?) in case anyone else had trouble with the emusic one.

Response by poster: Okay, my memory appears to work slowly, but reliably: I was thinking of Aphrodelics - On The Rise, which has the very same melody, though it sounds like a different sample. Probably a bit obscure, but I'd still love to find out where the original is from.

Hm. It can't be old, but there is something similar in the loops that come with Garage Band. I used one called Orchestra Brass and got a pretty similar effect when I slowed it way down.

I think speeding that sample up will make it easier to find the original.
