Do people eat nautiluses?

People eat squid, octopus, and cuttlefish. Is the nautilus the only marine cephalopod mollusk that nobody eats?

They eat them in the Philippines, according to this, and use chicken as bait. A couple of other links, like this, also mention in passing that they're eaten, but it seems like the main allure is the shell, not the meat.

You mention squid ... but there are many specific species of marine cephalopod mollusks that no one eats. Giant Squid, for instance.

I suspect that the answer to, 'Do people eat X?', if X is available and not very poisonous, is always yes.

Oh yeah. They're tasty.

I've seen *all* kinds of dried mollusc selling in Asian markets in Vancouver and in HK. The dried ones are typically used in soups to add a "seafoody" or "umami" or "fresh & rich" flavour to soups.
