Active Directory name game

I have a bunch of Macs that someone wants to put on Active Directory. That's not the problem.

The Macs all have user accounts on them with a ton of user documents etc. They all have the same name that we will be using to log into AD. I need a quick and dirty way to rename the computer accounts, log into AD, and transfer all the user's stuff.

Ooh, that's not going to go well. Doing it without renaming the accounts is preferred.

Response by poster: Agreed, but the user account names are the same as the AD log in names, so if a user account already exists on the Mac the user cannot log into AD. Hope me!

Can't they log in as DOMAIN\name?
