Doll customization-filter: Where to find "Mr. Clear sealer" in the US or Europe?

So a friend of mine in Ireland is wanting to do some doll customization. She emailed me asking if I knew of any place to find "Mr. Clear" sealer here in the States, as she couldn't get it over there. A plus would be a place either here or in Europe where she could get it shipped to herself in Ireland. Thanks in advance! :-)

The following links are all to Mr. Super Clear Flat sealer, so that her doll (a BJD, I hope!) doesn't end up looking shiny. If possible, try and get her the MSC with UV Cut, to reduce yellowing of the doll; it's rarer and more expensive, but worth the extra few dollars.

Anyway, the problem with Mr. Super Clear is that it's extremely popular and actually rather hard to come by. Volks USA will have it in stock every once in awhile, although it's sold out right now (don't let the website fool you!). Dolls and Friends seems to carry it, but it doesn't look like there's any in stock right now, either. Hobby Link Japan has a limited supply available, but they're Japan-based, not US-based. I haven't heard anything about PlaJapan, but they seem to have some in stock and ship from California(?).

Your best bet might actually be eBay. Here's an auction (not mine) ending in a few days; run a search, and you're bound to find others. Just be warned that auctions for this stuff tends to go up in price extremely quickly!

If your friend is looking for a more-readily available sealer, suggest that she try Testors Dull Coat. You can pick up a can of it from any Michael's craft store, in the car model section, pretty cheaply. It has a tendency to pick up dirt more quickly than Mr. Super Clear, but it's not a bad alternative in the meantime, while waiting for some MSC to show up.

Response by poster: Thanks much, Maya! I've forwarded the info on to her and we'll see where it goes from there. Thanks again!
