Smart mailboxes with only unreplied messages?

In Thunderbird, I can make a smart mailbox that shows only messages I haven't replied to, but I can't change the size of the text in the message lists. In Apple Mail, I can change the list size but can't figure out how to make a smart mailbox that only shows unreplied messages. I think I'd be better at answering mail if I could solve either of these problems. Help?

Can you do it manually? I've set up a bunch of folders to file my e-mails into once I've read/replied to them, and I file away every single e-mail after I've dealt with it. That way I know that what's in my inbox, and only what's in my inbox, requires my attention.

Best answer: I found a Thunderbird solution for you in a Google Groups thread. Searching thunderbird theme font got me there.

Response by poster: Wow, that's almost perfect. It doesn't change the line spacing and some letters get cut off a bit, but it helps a LOT. Thank you!

In Apple Mail, you can sort by Message Status by clicking the "•" in the column headers. It won't put all the unreplied messages in a mailbox, but it will sort them together.
