Can I use my Nokia N73 as a modem on my Macbook via USB?

I am able to utilise my 3G Internet connection through my N73 on OS X using Bluetooth, but this is appallingly slow. Is there any way I can do the same through USB?

I doubt the bottleneck here is your bluetooth - the N73 supports Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, which gives it 3mbps of bandwidth - certainly more than your 3G.

Yeah, I regularly get 100kb (that's kilobytes) per sec on data transfers between by N73 and Macbook, which is almost 1 megabit per second. Bluetooth shouldn't be the bottleneck.

Response by poster: I also get ~100KB/s when transferring files -- it's the latency I'm worried about. I'll try it again in the CBD (I've been doing it on the very outskirts of the 3G reception in my city), hopefully that will be more fruitful.
