Thinking of buying a Razor Phone

How far back does the call log go on a Razor Phone? I need it to go back at least a month.
This doesn't answer your original question, but the call log on my Treo 650 goes back at least a couple of months. There are also third party programs that let you see the call log sorted by contact (so I can see every time I've spoken to John Smith).

I just checked a direct-from-motorola (no carrier firmware installed) RAZR, and it had the last ten incoming and outgoing calls.
Since this conflicts with inigo's report of 60, I'm guessing it varies by carrier.

If it's not on the phone, you could probably get the information immediately from an online version of your bill.

Mine only holds about 10 in the log and its incredibly annoying. One of the several things I dislike about the phone and Motorola's user interface in general.

Seconding the bill. Even if your phone doesn't know, your wireless provider greedily tracks every last moment of your cell phone use. Most companies offer online billing; otherwise, a call to customer service, though potentially frustrating, should secure you a paper copy of the necessary records.

If you check the title, the OP is only thinking of buying a RAZR.

Another data point: I'm on Verizon with a Razr, and the log goes back 60 calls exactly.

My Razr also holds exactly 60 in the "All" calls log. (In the "Received" and "Dialed" logs, 10 each. Could that be what you're looking at, RandlePatrickMcMurphy?)

Mine holds the last 60 'received' and the last 60 'dialed.' I'm on Alltel. I suspect that Tacos is pretty much right (though I imagine it varies by firmware, not carrier, which is pretty much the same thing unless you're interested in modifying the firmware.)

I have a Razr through T-Mobile, and it does not store very many calls in the call log. It's not with me so I can't verify a number of calls, but I don't call in/out too frequently (because the reception is so bad that conversation is nearly impossible). In the recent past, I attempted to look up the phone number of a relative not stored in my phone book who had called exactly 2 Saturdays prior (14 days), but was unsuccessful because the call was no longer in the incoming log. And, FWIW, I've had to have my Razr replaced twice in 18 months for hardware failure without excessive ill treatment (dropping, submersion, etc.) of the phone. It's a pretty horrible cell phone even by comparison to the other pieces of junk available.

Add me to the voices saying only ten calls stored. Also, like bunnycup I wouldn't highly recommend the phone. I find the Motorola menus etc. frustrating, and the phone itself isn't very hardy.
